Palace Museum free for kids on Monday

Kids will get free entry to Beijing's Palace Museum on Monday, International Children's Day, the site's administrators announced on Friday.

The deal is open to children aged 14 or below, while one of their parents can enjoy a half-price ticket, usually priced at 60 yuan (9.7 U.S. dollars), according to the museum.

The museum's ticket office will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday. The site is usually closed on Mondays.

Otherwise known as the Forbidden City, the Palace Museum has received more than 10 million visitors annually in recent years. Endi
