Urgent: 7.0-magnitude earthquake jolts off Alaska

A 7.0-magnitude earthquake jolted off the southwest coast of Alaska late Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The USGS said the quake, which occurred at 0700 GMT, was centered 111 km northwest of Chirikof Island with a depth of 51 km. Endi
