LME base metals rise mostly on Thursday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Thursday.
Investors did not have the strong will to trade on Thursday as they were waiting for the revised GDP data of Q1 2015 from the United States.
Besides, Chile's environmental regulator filed charges against Canada's Lundin Mining Corp on Wednesday for a series of irregularities at its Candelaria copper deposit, according to local media.
The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 25 U.S. dollars, or 0.41 percent, to 6,097.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 9 U.S. dollars, or 0.51 percent, to 1,760.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price increased 15 U.S. dollars, or 0.77 percent, to 1,966 U.S. dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 22 U.S. dollars, or 1.00 percent, to 2,219 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.39 percent, to 1,2812.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price increased 175 U.S. dollars, or 1.14 percent, to 15,525 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
