Jordan, Egypt develop roadmap to boost economic ties

Visiting Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb said Wednesday here that Jordan and Egypt have developed a new roadmap to bolster economic and trade relations.

Mehleb made his remarks at a meeting with Jordanian businessmen and investors, saying that Egypt is keen on boosting integration with Jordan due to a political will from both sides.

He said the two countries agreed to boost cooperation in the fields of agricultural, tourism and transportation.

Meanwhile, Jordanian officials at the meeting called for removing obstacles that Jordanian investors faced in Egypt. Endit
