Xinhua, May 27, 2015 Adjust font size:

Jonty Rhodes, the former South African batsman, has arrived in Sri Lanka on a short stint for ten days as a fielding coach, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said in a statement on Wednesday.

The current Mumbai Indians fielding coach is in Sri Lanka ahead of the home series against Pakistan which starts next month.

"Jonty Rhodes will educate the coaches apart from the national cricketers and other national, development and junior teams on the latest techniques of fielding," SLC said.

Pakistan will likely play three Tests, five ODIs and two T20 internationals in Sri Lanka during the tour planned for June and July.

This tour will be the sixth bilateral encounter between these teams in as many years. They played three Tests in the UAE in 2014, before Pakistan's mid-year tour of Sri Lanka, which comprised of two Tests and three ODIs. Endi
