Xinhua, May 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Shandong Luneng has replaced Guangzhou Evergrande as the most generous to their first-team players in China's Super League.

The 2015 Global Sports Salaries Survey by Sportingintelligence showed Tuesday that Shandong's first-string players receive an average annual salary of 1.1 million U.S. dollars, ranked in the 190th place in the world, ahead of Asian and Chinese champions Evergrande by about 50,000 dollars.

As Shandong climbed up the ladder, Evergrande fell by 17 slots from last year.

There are 14 Chinese clubs in the 333-team rankings, with Ligue 1 powerhouse PSG leading the field with 9 millions dollars.
