Afghan President condemns attack on mosque in Saudi Arabia

Afghanistan's President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has termed the attack on a mosque in Saudi Arabia as against Islamic teaching and condemned it in its strongest term, a statement released by Arg, or Presidential Palace, here on Saturday said.
"Terrorist attack against worshippers in mosque and other sacred places of Muslims is against Islamic teaching and against humanity," the president said in the statement.
The Afghan president in the statement also expressed sympathy with Saudi King as well as with the government and people of Saudi Arabia.
In the deadly terrorist attack for which the extremist outfit of so-called Islamic State or Daesh has claimed of responsibility, at least 20 people had been reportedly killed and some 80 others injured in a mosque in the Saudi city of Qatif during Friday prayers. Endi
