Xinhua, May 20, 2015 Adjust font size:

China's latest relief materials arrived in Nepal on Wednesday, said the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

The 40 tonnes of supplies is the first batch of the third round sent from China. The MOC will keep close contact with Nepal to arrange follow-up help, said the MOC in a brief online statement.

The third round relief will be worth 80 million yuan (13.11 million U.S. dollars), including tents, waterproof cloth and health packages, as a 7.5-magnitude after-quake hit Nepal on May 12, said another MOC statement issued on May 13.

An earthquake hit Nepal on April 25, leaving over 8,400 people dead. Endi
