Italian plane to aid Albania's monitoring over illegal cannabis cultivation

Italian aircraft will be used to help Albania in monitoring illegal cannabis cultivation, Albanian interior ministry said Tuesday.

Out of cooperation between both countries, specialized aircraft of Italy's Guardia di Finanza will conduct aerial reconnaissance missions to identify cannabis plantations in Albanian territory, the ministry said.

The agreement was reached after the meeting of officials from both sides. Endit
