Myanmar VP meets CPC delegation

Myanmar Vice President Sai Mauk Kham met with a visiting delegation of led by Chen Fengxiang, vice minister of the International Department the Communist Party of China Central Committee here on Tuesday.

At the meeting, Vice President Sai said Myanmar attached high importance to the development of relations with China, expressing willingness to push forward bilateral friendly exchange and cooperation in various sectors.

Vice Minister Chen said the Chinese side would like to continuously enhance the party-to-party exchange of the two countries and enrich their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

During the visit, Speaker of Myanmar's Union Parliament and the House of Representatives U Shwe Mann, who is also chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), Chairperson of the National League for Democracy (NLD) Aung San Suu Kyi and Commander- in-Chief of the Defense Service Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing met with Chen separately.
