Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks soared by over 360 points Monday amid optimism that the central bank could relax rates in coming weeks.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark index Sensex closed at 27,687.30 points, 363.30 or 1.33 percent up from the previous close of 27,324 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 27,725.97 points and a low of 27, 370.28 points during the day. Endi
