Xinhua, May 18, 2015 Adjust font size:

"Night at the Museum", an international event to celebrate the International Museum's Day and call for a sustainable society, took place at the Tajik National Museum on Monday.

Master classes by artisans as well as a fashion show by designer Hurshed Sattorov and New Era Model Studio will be staged at the museum Monday evening.

The annual activity, held in Tajikistan since 2013, is organized by the country's National Museum and the Union of Craftsmen.

International Museum Day is celebrated every year on or around May 18 under the coordination of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).

It provides an opportunity for museum professionals to meet the public and alert them about the challenges museums face.

It carries a different theme every year, highlighting the top concern of the international museum community. Endi
