Singapore stocks close 0.10 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 3.53 points, or 0.10 percent, to close at 3,459.57.

A total of 1.74 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 961.4 million Singapore dollars (730 million U.S. dollars).

Gainers outnumbered decliners 244 to 207, while 504 others finished unchanged.

The STI index gained 7.32 points, or 0.21 percent, to close at 3,463.10 on Friday. Endi
