Taiwan stocks close down 0.27 pct

Taiwan's share prices closed lower Monday with the weighted index down 26.62 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 9,606.1, according to news reaching here from Taipei.

Turnover totaled 91.52 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 3.01 billion U.S. dollars). Endi
