Atletico Mineiro routed Fluminense 4-1 to rise to third in Brazil's Serie A standings on Sunday.

The result at Brasilia's Mane Garrincha stadium means Atletico now have four points from two matches while Fluminense remain on three points.

In Rio de Janeiro, Everton struck deep into injury time to earn Flamengo a 2-2 draw with Sport. Diego Souza and Elber had given the visitors a two-goal buffer before Hector Canteros made it 2-1 in the 74th minute.
