Urgent: Boston marathon bomber Tsarnaev sentenced to death

A U.S. jury on Friday sentenced Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death for the bombings at the 2013 Boston Marathon, local media reported.

The jury convicted Tsarnaev last month of all 30 charges against him over the bombing attacks and the following killing of a police officer when on the run, including 17 counts that carried the death penalty. Endite
