Urgent: Burundian president returns to capital after attempted coup: source

Burundian president Pierre Nkurunziza returned Friday to the capital Bujumbura after the government announced the attempted coup against the president had failed, a diplomatic source said.

Bujumbura Mayor Saidi Juma said Friday the situation is now normal after the army "foiled mutineers led by Major General Godefroid Niyombare." Endi
