Tokyo stocks rise 0.51 pct. in morning on Wall St. gains

Tokyo stocks rose 0.51 percent in the morning session of Friday bolstered by overnight gains in U.S. and Europeans stocks.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 99.67 points, from Thursday to 19,669.91. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 6.38 points, or 0.4 percent, at 1,597.87.

Gainers were led by services, chemicals and air transport. Endi
