Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks closed lower Thursday with the BSE benchmark index Senses at 27,206.06, 45.04 points or 0.17 percent down from the previous close of 27,251.10 points.

The Sensex has been volatile over the past few months.

The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation has degraded Indian equities market from overweight to underweight status due to slowing growth of benefits for portfolio investment from abroad. Endi
