The death toll in a fresh powerful quake that hit Nepal on Tuesday has reached 65 and more than 1,900 others were injured. the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Wednesday.

Laxmi Prasad Dhakal, a spokesman of the ministry, said the 7.5- magnitude quake with an epicenter at Dolakha district has killed 65 with 1,936 reportedly injured till Wednesday morning. (Nepal- Earthquake-Death Toll)

ISLAMABAD -- At least 43 people were killed and 13 others were injured when unknown gunmen opened fire at a passenger bus carrying about 60 to 65 people of a minority group in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Wednesday morning, officials said.

Inspector General Police Ghulam Haider Jamali said that six unknown gunmen coming on three motorbikes entered the bus after stopping it and opened indiscriminate firing at the people sitting inside.(Pakistan-Attack-Casualties)

SEOUL -- At least two people were killed and three others wounded in a shooting rampage that happened in a South Korean reserve forces training center, the Army said Wednesday.

LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan -- At least three people were killed while 11 others wounded in a shooting in Lashkar Gah, the capital city of southern Afghanistan's province of Helmand on Wednesday morning, an official source said.

"Two gunmen attacked the provincial Hajj and Religious Affairs Department at around 10:00 a.m. (local time) near provincial governor house.
