Indonesia aims at top 5 at Asian Games

Indonesia, the host to the 2018 Asian Games, has set a target to be among the top 5 at the international sport event to be held in Jakarta and Palembang, official said here on Monday.

To reach the position, the Indonesian youth and sport ministry targets at 10 to 18 gold medals, according to Djoko Pekik Irianto, a deputy at the ministry.

The deputy said that Indonesia is preparing to boost the capability of medal hopefuls.

Chairperson of Indonesian Olympic Committee, Rita Subowo, said that Indonesia would observe the strength of opponents at the SEA Games 2015 in Singapore. Endi
