French stock market jumps 2.48 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with an advance of 2.48 percent at 5,090.39 points on Friday, up 123.17 points.

With the assuring creation of employment in the United States and the British elections results, the CAC 40 closed higher on Friday with all of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The three companies that gained the most on Friday were Airbus Group, up 5.04 percent, Essilor International, up 4.45 percent, and Alcatel-Lucent, up 4.44 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a slight decrease of 0.29 percent at 4,967.22 points, down 14.37 points. Endit
