Indian stocks open lower

Indian stocks opened lower on Thursday with the BSE benchmark index Sensex opening at 26,633.92 points, 83.45 points or 0.31 percent down from the previous close of 26,717.37 points.

Sensex shed over 700 points on Wednesday amid fading optimism over the economic policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, one year after he came to power. Endi
