Singapore's parliament speaker in Cambodia for 1st official visit

Singapore's Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob arrived here on Wednesday afternoon for a 3-day official visit to boost bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.

Halimah was warmly greeted by Cambodian Parliament's first vice- president Kem Sokha at the Phnom Penh International Airport upon her arrival.

Halimah's visit marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Cambodia, and will further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two nations. Endi
