Singapore stocks close 0.33 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 11.40 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 3,459.79.

A total of 1.31 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 23 billion Singapore dollars (924.8 million U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 258 to 175, while 512 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 11.51 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 3, 471.19 on Tuesday. Endi
