China donates military equipment to Guinea Bissau

The Chinese government on Tuesday donated to Guinea Bissau military equipment comprised of vehicles and computers valued at a total of 350,000 U.S. dollars, an official source has said.

"The Chinese aid will help to kick start the reorganization and restructuring of the armed forces," Guinea Bissau's National Defense Minister Cadi Seide said during the ceremony to receive the materials.

"China is an indispensable partner for the country's development," Guinea Bissau's Prime Minister Domingos Simoes Pereira added.

Chinese ambassador in Bissau Wang Hua said the donation will help Guinea Bissau resolve some of its security challenges. Endi
