Lao stock market closes 0.06 pct down

The Lao stock market finished on Wednesday down 0.06 percent against the previous trading day.

The Lao Securities Exchange composite index decreased by 0.88 points to 1,461.31. A total of 144,185 shares worth about 1 billion Lao kip (about 125,000 U.S. dollars) changed hands at the stock market.

There are four companies listed at the Lao stock market. Petroleum Trading Lao Public Company (PTL) shares unchanged at 3, 800 Lao kip (about 47 U.S.cents). Lao World Public Company (LWPC) had no trade.

Laos' largest commercial bank Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao (BCEL) fell by 0.75 percent to 6,650 Lao kip (about 82 U.S. cents). Shares of state-run energy giant Electricite du Laos Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) unchanged at 7,500 Lao kip ( about 93 U.S. cents). Endi
