Death toll climbs to 7, 652 in deadly Nepal quake

The Death toll in the deadly Nepal quake climbed to 7,652 while 16,390 others were injured, the Home Ministry said Wednesday in its latest update.

As many as 10,718 government buildings were destroyed in the 7. 9 magnitude quake which struck the country on April 25. A total of 14,741 sustained partial damages. About 191,058 civilian houses were flattened and 175,162 partially devastated.

The district hit worst in the quake is Sindhupalchowk which recorded 2,911 causalities while Kathmandu witnessed 1,202 and Nuwakot 9
