Singapore stocks close 0.33 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 11.51 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 3,471.19.

A total of 1.51 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 885.5 million Singapore dollars (665.8 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 279 to 175, while 484 others finished unchanged.
