China stocks open lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.01 percent, to open at 4,479.85.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,831.91, down 0.19 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.51 percent lower at 2,830.79 points. Endi
