Guerrero to return for Corinthians after Dengue setback

Xinhua, May 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

Paolo Guerrero is set to make his return for Corinthians after recovering from Dengue fever, the Brazilian club said on Monday.

The 31-year-old Peru international striker has not played since being diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease on April 11.

He returned to full training on Monday and is expected to start in Corinthians' Copa Libertadores round of 16 match against Paraguay's Guarani in Asuncion on Wednesday.

"He has lost weight but his physical condition is good," Corinthians coach Tite told reporters. "He could play the entire match on Wednesday, or a big part of it."

The Copa Libertadores is South America's premier club competition. Endi
