President of Maldives to visit Pakistan on May 6-7

President of the Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom will pay a state visit to Pakistan on May 6-7, during which he will hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and meet President Mamnoon Hussain, the foreign ministry said on Monday.

During the visit, Pakistan and Maldives will review all important aspects of their bilateral relations, a ministry statement said.

A number of documents on cooperation in sports, health, education and drug trafficking will be signed.

Pakistan and the Maldives are members of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation. Endi
