10 wedding guests killed in south Pakistan

Xinhua, May 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

At least 10 wedding guests were killed and several others injured when high power electric wires fell at their van in Pakistan's south Dadu district on Sunday morning, local media reported.

Samaa TV said that the accident happened at about 10:40 a.m. ( local time) in Dadu, a town in the country's south Sindh province.

The van was carrying guests from Dadu to a neighboring town when the accident happened.

The bride and the groom remained safe in the accident as they were not in the van.

Police said that the van caught fire following the cables fall on it which resulted in the casualties.

The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital where at least two of them were in critical condition. Endi
