South China' rain to linger across Labor Day

Xinhua, May 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Continuous rainfall will cover most parts of south China during the Labor Day public holiday which started Friday, and will probably end next Tuesday, the country's meteorological authority predicted on Saturday

The National Meteorological Center (NMC) also advised travellers to make preparations for the adverse effects on traffic by the occasional, but strong wind and hailstorms.

Meanwhile, some parts of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will be affected by dust and sand weather from tonight to tomorrow, the NMC said, warning travellers in the affected areas to take precautions. Endi
