More than 2000 people killed in worst quake-hit district in Nepal

More than 2000 people have been killed in the worst quake-hit Sindhupalchowk district of Nepal followed by massive earthquake of Saturday, according to the Home Ministry.
The death toll in the mountainous district has reached 2020 till Friday noon, said the Home Ministry adding that thousands of people were injured while hundreds have been airlifted to Kathmandu.
Rescue and relief program is still underway in Melamchi, Barhabise, Tatopani and among other areas.
Sindhuaplchowk is around 100 kilometers away from Kathmandu, bordering China.
The death toll from a 7.9-magnitude earthquake in Nepal has climbed to 6,204 and a total of 13,932 others were injured, according to the Home Ministry. Endi
