Seventy Albanians, who broke the rules of stay in the Schengen Area, were sent back here on Thursday.

Albanian police officially announced that the repatriation was carried out in two flights, organized by the Albanian Interior Ministry, Great Britain and France.

"The repatriated people have broken the rules of stay in the Schengen Area and some of them have illegally entered and stayed in Great Britain. They have been penalized for five years not to travel towards Schengen area countries and Great Britain," said the police.

Some 15 of the deported Albanian citizens have been sent back from France and 55 from Great Britain, according to Albanian Daily News. Endit
