Xi'an public security official under graft probe

A senior public security official in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has been placed under investigation for "serious violations of discipline and law", common shorthand for graft, the local discipline watchdog announced on Thursday.

Wang Anqun was in charge of Internet security and investigating economic crimes, as the most senior of seven deputy directors of the Xi'an public security bureau. Endi
