Xinhua, April 29, 2015 Adjust font size:

A team from Google is currently in Malta to promote their Google Cloud software among local enterprises, particularly those related to the digital gaming and banking sectors.

Whilst expressing interest in business collaborations with Malta, Google senior public policy analyst Enrico Bellini said Google was aiming to strengthen relationships with countries which were ready to consider having an entirely digital-based economy.

Malta's Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business Chris Cardona said Malta was determined to play a central role in e-gaming and the creative industries.

Cardona said the presence of Google representatives in Malta highlighted the country's potential in this sector. Moreover, he urged companies involved in these areas to prepare themselves for new demands of future challenges. Endit
