Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks ended a volatile session on a weak note on Wednesday.

Bharti Airtel fell 4 percent while ITC, HDFC, Vedanta and Reliance were major laggards.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 27225.93, 170.45 points or 0.62 percent down from previous close of 27396.38, with a turnover of 5.1 billion rupees. Endi
