Death toll soars to 4,555 in Nepal powerful earthquake

The death toll from a powerful earthquake in Nepal climbed to 4,555 and a total of 8,299 oterhs were injured, Nepal Police said in a statement on Tuesday.

The 7.9-magnitude hit Nepal at midday on Saturday.
