China is willing to work with Russia to push forward cooperation on major projects and prepare for the meeting between their heads of state scheduled for May in Moscow, said Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang on Tuesday.
Wang and Russian Deputy Prime Minster Dmitry Rogozin co-chaired the meeting of the Joint Commission for the Regular Prime Ministers' Meetings of China and Russia in Hangzhou, capital city of China's Zhejiang Province.
China and Russia have seen sound development of their comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination, said Wang.
He reviewed his meeting with Rogozin in last October, saying that the competent authorities and companies from the two sides have been actively implementing the consensus reached by the October meeting and made breakthroughs in some areas of cooperation.
China is ready to make joint efforts with Russia to push ahead pragmatic cooperation in the areas of nuclear energy, aviation and aerospace, satellite navigation, agricultural trade, cross-border infrastructure construction and China's involvement in the development of Russia's Far East, he said.
Rogozin said Russia takes the strategic cooperation with China as a diplomatic priority, and is willing to work with China to tap the huge potential of their cooperation, so as to promote the sustained and in-depth development of their pragmatic cooperation. Endi
