Xinhua, April 28, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Palestinian teenager died Tuesday of wounds he sustained after being shot by Israeli troops in the northern West Bank town of Jenin on Monday, medics said.

Murad Yahia, 18, was pronounced dead Tuesday morning, said Mahmoud Sa'di, director of emergency in the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in the town.

Witnesses said that clashes broke out between an Israeli army force and dozens of Palestinians on Monday night in the village of A'rqa near Jenin, adding that the Israeli soldiers dispersed the Palestinians with live ammunition.

On Saturday, a young Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli gunfire after he tried to stab an Israeli policeman at an Israeli police checkpoint in East Jerusalem, according to an Israeli police report. Endit
