China continues relief supplies to quake-hit Tibet

More relief supplies have been sent to Tibet as efforts continue to help with disaster relief in the region following the 8.1-magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal on Saturday, said the Ministry of Civil Affairs on Tuesday.
As of present, the central government has allocated a total of 20,000 tents, 50,000 cotton coats, 50,000 quilts, 15,000 folding beds and 15,000 sleeping bags to affected areas in Tibet.
At least 25 people were killed, 117 injured and more than 200,000 affected in Tibet by the earthquake that struck neighboring Nepal.
The 8.1-magnitude earthquake shook Nepal at 2:11 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Saturday, which also affected the southwestern part of China's Tibet, especially Xigaze City. Endit
