A dump truck loading soil crashed into a convoy of Cambodian Prince Norodom Ranariddh, president of royalist Funcinpec Party, on Saturday afternoon, leaving his wife and five bodyguards injured, a spokesman confirmed.
The accident took place in Kampong Cham province, about 124 kilometers northeast of capital Phnom Penh when the dump truck, driving in an opposition direction, swerved out of its lane and crashed into the prince's BMW car and one of his bodyguards' pickup trucks, said Funcinpec Party spokesman Nhep Bun Chin. PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia has rescued 58 nationals, who were trafficked to work as illegal fishermen in Indonesia, Koy Kuong, spokesman for the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Saturday. "With the cooperation from the Indonesian authorities, the Cambodian Embassy in Indonesia has saved 58 Cambodian laborers, who had been trafficked to work illegally on fishing boats in Indonesian maritime territory," he said in a statement. KATHMANDU -- More than 720 people, including 256 in the capital of Kathmandu, have been killed in a 7.8-magnitude earthquake which jolted large parts of Nepal on Saturday.
Around 180 bodies were seen pulled from the ruins of Dharhara tower in the center of Kathmandu when the massive quake struck at 11:45 a.m. local time (0600 GMT).
The nine-story tower in the historic Basantapur Durbar Square completely collapsed, which reportedly left around 200 people trapped in the rubbles. (Nepal-Earthquake)

HONG KONG -- The government of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Saturday conducted a bus-parade across the region to promote the proposed universal suffrage package for the chief executive in 2017.
Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam and other senior officials of the government took part in the parade which started from Kennedy Town in Hong Kong Island through Lok Fu in Kowloon and ended in Tai Po community in the New Territories.
Apart from Lam, other two members of the Task Force on Constitutional Development, namely Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen and Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam, also participated in the parade. (China-HK-Constitutional Reform) Endi
