Greenland defeats Greentown 2-0 to reach third place of CSL

Shanghai Greenland beat Hangzhou Greentown 2-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday night and reached the third place in the standings.

Giovanni Moreno's bicycle kick found a way out of a stalemate before the half time whistle.

Tim Cahill's penalty kick enlarged Greenland's advantage in the 63rd minute. It was the first goal since the Australian international had joined in the CSL in this season.

A conflict was burst out between two sides in the 67th minute, and the Referee gave Moreno and Huang Xiyang a yellow card each.

Greenland climbed into the third place in the league's standings, the team was yearning to take part in next season's AFC Champions League.

In the earlier time, Shanghai Shenxin hold a 1-1 draw with Liaoning Whowin in Liaoning's home court, Shenxin got the 1st point in the standings after six consecutive losses in the CSL.

Yang Shanping broke the deadlock in the extra time of the first half, Yang received a 'pass' from Shenxin player's clearance header and shot before his opponent goal-keeper catching the ball.

Ze Eduardo made the equalizer in the 56th minute, he used the sombrero skills to break loose the keeper and got his first goal in the season.
