Czech calls Jaromir Jagr for Hockey World Championship

Czech ice hockey national team coach Vladimir Ruzicka called Friday legend forward Jaromir Jagr into the 28-member squad for the upcoming Hockey World Championship in Prague and Ostrava, Czech Republic on May 1-17.

Jagr, 43, who is playing for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League, is considered one of the greatest professional hockey players of all time.

As one of the oldest players in the NHL history, Jagr won the Stanley Cups twice, topped the scoring five times and was voted as the outstanding player three times.
