Croatian parliament approves new cultural minister

Croatian Parliament gave its support on Friday to Berislav Sipus as new Minister of Culture.

He was approved with 78 votes "yes", 23 "against", while two members of parliament abstained.

Parliament supported the decision made on Thursday's session of the Education, Science and Culture Committee in the Croatian Parliament, which approved Sipus as minister with seven votes "yes" and two "against".

Zlatar Violic stepped down for concerning irregular use of credit cards of the Ministry of Culture in 2013. Endit
