1 kg of heroin seized in south Albania

Albanian police Wednesday seized one kilogram of heroin in south city Vlora and arrested three persons in an operation codenamed Finiqi.

The persons arrested are Arben Kanina, 43 years old, a 17-year old resident in Delvina and Gezim Mixha, 49 years old.

The these persons were detained in the frame of the criminal proceedings started with the Prosecution of Serious Crimes in Tirana since 2014.

The specialists of the sector for narcotics in the directorate of Vlora district police intervened in Delvina while the above-mentioned citizens were pressing the narcotic substance, which is suspected that was going to be transported to Greece. Endit
