Spanish stock market falls 0.2 pct, closes at 11,399 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.2 percent on Wednesday to close at 11,399.20 points, down from the 11,422.30 points of Tuesday.

DIA shares led falls losing 2.44 percent, followed by BME, Acciona, ACS and OHL that lost 1.81 percent, 1.41 percent, 1.40 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular led rises climbing 2.37 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Caixabank, Banco Sabadell and Bankinter that rose 1.43 percent, 1.33 percent, 1.26 percent and 0.82 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 122.3 points on Wednesday at closing time falling from the 133.20 points of early trading. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate also fell from 1.43 percent early in the morning to 1.383 percent by the end of the trading session. Endit
