China's proposal to boost cooperation between Asia and Africa will help both continents to deepen understanding of each other, a senior Iranian official said here Wednesday.

China has good investment in Africa, and many other Asian countries also pay attention to Africa. KATHMANDU -- Death toll in a bus accident in Dhading district of Central Nepal has climbed to 17, police said on Wednesday.

TOKYO -- A small drone bearing a trace of radiation has been found on the roof of the Japanese Prime Minister's office on Wednesday, local media reported.

According to the police, the drone is about 50 centimeters in diameter, carrying four propellers and a small camera as well as a 10-cm brown bottle of liquid with a sticker showing a radioactivity symbol and the word"radioactive,"said Japan's Kyodo News Agency. (Japan-PM Office-Drone)

YANGON -- A total of eighteen Myanmar armymen have been killed and three others injured as a military vehicle crashed in Mongpyin township, northeastern Shan state, local media Voice quoted local traffic police as reporting Wednesday.

With 21 armymen on board, the military vehicle, owned by the Triangle Area Military Command, fell into a 90 meter-deep ravine on Tuesday at 2:20 p.m. (local time) when it was bound for Taunggyi from Kengtung on Kengtung-Taunggyi road, it said without giving further details on the cause of the accident.
